Federal home energy programs in Louisiana: status and dates

Louisiana Home Energy Rebates (HER and HEAR), Department of Conservation and Energy

federal rebate (state-run)

Status: status not confirmed; the state's archived page says implementation 'is in progress'

Dates: No launch date

The archived page of the former Department of Energy and Natural Resources says its Office of Energy is partnering with the Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit to administer the Home Efficiency Rebate (HER) and Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate (HEAR) programs, offering over $200 million in rebates, and that 'Implementation of these programs in Louisiana is in progress. Please check back for updates.' The page gives no launch date or application process.

Not confirmed or worth knowing: The page we read is on the state's archive site (the department became the Department of Conservation and Energy on Oct 1, 2025). The matching page on the department's new site showed only home-page content when we read it, so we found no more recent official statement.
