federal rebate (state-run)
Status: not launched; status not confirmed (state page timeline not updated since 2024)
Dates: No launch date published
The Nevada Governor's Office of Energy (GOE) page says Nevada is eligible for $48,200,980 for the Home Efficiency Rebates and $47,920,160 for the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates, and that GOE issued a request for proposals for a vendor to run a needs assessment that will shape program design. Its completed-activity list ends with DOE awarding early administrative funds on Mar 27, 2024. The page gives no launch date, amounts for Nevada households, or application process.
Not confirmed or worth knowing: The page's 'upcoming' timeline still lists Summer 2024, so it is out of date. GOE offers email sign-ups for updates (contact [email protected]).

To qualify, the household must live in Nevada, meet citizenship rules, pay at least part of its heating or cooling costs, and have gross monthly income at or below 150% of the federal poverty guidelines (FY 2027 limits: $1,995 a month for one person, $4,125 for four, plus $710 for each additional person). Division of Social Services: (775) 684-0800.
Not confirmed or worth knowing: Nevada weatherization is not listed yet: the Nevada Housing Division's weatherization page served our research fetcher an automated-traffic check on Oct 20, 2026, so we stopped and did not read it.
